For the 2024 Penguin cover design award, I made a cover for 'Daisy Jones and the Six'.
For the process I used screen printing and a mixture of watercolor paint, dirt and cigarette ash to weather the design down. The inspiration was old music posters made frim the 50-ies and to the 80-ies, and the weathering effects were added to make it look like the poster may have fallen of a wall and get stepped down in to the mud.
As part of a project I made a draft for 'Diary of a young naturalist' by Dara Mcanulty. The cover itself is lino print, designed with natural elements in mind. The pattern represnts loss of direction and finding your own path, like traversing a hedge maze.
